At the wedding in Cana, when the wine ran out, Mary turned to the servants and gave them a command that still speaks to us today: "Do whatever He tells you" (John 2:5). What Jesus asked the servants to do next probably didn't make sense. Filling jars with water had nothing to do with the problem they were trying to solve...or so it seemed. Yet their obedience positioned them to witness a miracle. How often do we do the opposite? We overthink, question, delay, and search for easier or more logical solutions. We want the full plan before we take the first step. But God often calls us to obey before we understand. Join us as we discuss why obedience is both simple and difficult, how God's instructions don't always make sense in the moment, and why the shortest path to where God is leading you is often just doing what He tells you to do.
