The Scarlet Standard
UNLV spring football wrapped up with a strong showing as more than 3,000 fans packed the Rebels’ spring game, signaling growing belief in the program under Dan Mullen. Following the scrimmage, Mullen, quarterback Jackson Arnold, and defensive back Jake Pope met with the media to break down where the team stands coming out of spring. Mullen discusses the foundation built across the roster, the importance of developing depth, and why UNLV is positioning itself as Las Vegas’ team heading into the fall. Arnold opens up on adjusting to a new system, building chemistry within the offense, and the ongoing quarterback competition, while Pope details the defensive growth, leadership development, and expectations for a unit that looks faster and deeper than a year ago. 0:00 Spring Game Crowd and Program Buy-In 0:29 Dan Mullen Spring Takeaways 1:07 Wide Receiver Playmakers Emerging 1:42 Defensive Depth and Progress 2:20 Quarterback Competition (Arnold vs Orji) 3:04 Las Vegas Support and Program Momentum 3:39 Running Back Production 5:09 Summer Development Plan 6:00 Post-Spring Evaluation of the Team 6:28 Local Recruiting and Building in Las Vegas 7:34 Jackson Arnold on Learning the Offense 8:25 QB Room Chemistry and Competition 9:32 Offensive Line Growth 10:14 Offensive Development Through Spring 11:52 Jake Pope on Defensive Improvement 12:46 Player Perspective on Fan Support 13:06 Leadership and Locker Room Growth 14:07 Recruiting Pitch and Program Direction Join our community at The Scarlet Standard https://the-scarlet-standard.com [https://the-scarlet-standard.com] Follow on all socials @ss_medialv Grab your Scarlet Standard gear https://vegasvarsity.com/products/the [https://vegasvarsity.com/products/the]...
