James 3:8-10 reminds us that the same mouth that blesses God can wound the people made in His image, “these things ought not to be so.”    But before we talk about taming the tongue, we return to the foundation: belovedness before behavior, attachment before transformation. We talk about why we can’t change our deepest deformities of character on our own, how attachment shapes us from infancy, what broke in us at the beginning, and how salvation restores the original wound. EP24: Faith And Provision

LOOK UP Have you ever been searching for what you need — strategizing, solving, scanning every practical option — and missed that the provision was already there, just above your line of sight? In this episode, Megan shares a dream that stopped her in her tracks: a meme about someone looking everywhere for toilet paper, only to finally look up and find a full, unopened pack sitting on top of the refrigerator. It’s a simple image with a lot of weight. This message explores what it looks like to reorient your gaze — from the horizontal scramble of striving to the upward posture of trust. We look at what scripture says about how God provides, why He pre-sees what we need before we ask, and what it means to receive provision as a beloved child rather than earn it as a laborer. Philippians 4:19 sets the standard: He provides according to the riches of His glory — not according to your strategy. Look up.
