Ask a question for the show [https://www.speakpipe.com/TooGoodtobeDrew] Today’s conversation is all about a feeling I honestly can’t fully put into words. So many great things are happening in my life right now that I feel overwhelmed... but not in a bad way for once. This kind of overwhelm feels like joy, gratitude, purpose, love, and growth all crashing together at the same time. The best way I can describe it is this: I’m bursting at the seams. Goodness is just oozing out of me. In a world where we usually associate “overwhelmed” with stress, anxiety, and burnout, I wanted to challenge that idea. Sometimes life gets so good, so full, so aligned, that your heart and mind struggle to contain it all. And that’s a blessing worth sitting with. I also talk about the importance of having spaces where you can celebrate the good things happening in your life. Therapy and mentorship aren’t only for hard seasons. Having people who can hold space for your wins, your excitement, your growth, and your gratitude is just as important. Too often we only show up to talk when things are falling apart. But there’s power in being able to say, “Life is actually beautiful right now.” Take time to appreciate the moments where life feels full. Let yourself enjoy it. You worked for this feeling. Adulting 101: Do What Needs to Be Done EP 148

Adulting is not always exciting, convenient, or comfortable—but responsibility means handling what needs to be done anyway. IN THIS EPISODE * Doing the uncomfortable work instead of procrastinating * Being resourceful when entering unfamiliar situations * Recognizing where help is needed and stepping in * Following through on commitments and responsibilities * Building a reputation through consistency and action Adulting may be difficult, but learning to take ownership can improve every area of life.

Called to Something Bigger: Purpose, Passion & Mentorship EP 147

In this quick Wellness Wednesday episode, Uncle Drew shares what's ahead for the podcast and why mentorship will be a major focus moving forward. He talks about the importance of feeding your mind with meaningful books, movies, and documentaries that challenge you to think, grow, and have deeper conversations. Drew also offers a summer challenge: read more, move more, and spend time reflecting on what truly matters. Whether it's taking a walk without distractions, picking up a new book, or exploring a cause you're passionate about, the goal is to be intentional about your growth and the impact you want to make. Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that we all have a purpose bigger than ourselves. As always, Drew encourages listeners to check in on the people they love, show up for their communities, and keep working toward becoming the person they're called to be. Thanks for listening, nieces and nephews. More good stuff is on the way.

Father's Day Reflections: The Legacy We Carry EP 146

In this special Father's Day episode, Drew reflects on the impact of the fathers and father figures who helped shape his life. Sharing personal memories of both of his dads, he talks about gratitude, loss, and the lessons that stay with us long after loved ones are gone. The conversation explores how our parents teach us both what to do and what not to do, and how each generation has the opportunity to grow, heal, and show up differently for the people they love. Drew also opens up about the importance of mentorship, the responsibility we have to support the next generation, and why every person should have both a mentor and a mentee. This episode is a reminder to appreciate those who poured into us, honor the people we've lost, and continue showing up for others in meaningful ways.
