Twenty Seven Good
This week is part summer catch-up, part favorite things, and part reminder that maybe... not everything is about us. We chat about summer weather, self-tanner recommendations, linen pants, jean shorts, Nuuly clothing rentals, and finding confidence in your style as you get older. We also share what we're loving lately, including Nourish Move Love workouts, strength training, and an inspiring audiobook about choosing joy, resilience, and seeing the good in others. The conversation then shifts into a deeper discussion about "main character energy," the Invisible Guest Theory, and how often we assume other people's actions, moods, or responses are somehow about us. We talk about anxiety, overthinking, being easily offended, and the freedom that comes from realizing most people are simply living their own stories. Through personal stories, practical examples, and biblical perspective, we explore what it looks like to focus less on people's opinions and more on God's purpose, reminding themselves that the goal isn't to be famous in our own story, but faithful in God's story. Bible verse referenced: Galatians 1:10 "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?"
