Sometimes what feels like loss is actually Jesus making room for growth. In this episode, i share a deeply personal story about friendship, abandonment, and the unexpected freedom that came when God removed certain people from my life during one of the hardest seasons me and my husband are facing. At the time it felt like rejection. But looking back, i realized something deeper was happening. Jesus was protecting my heart, my joy, and the calling He placed on my life. Because the truth is, not everyone is meant to walk with you into the next season God has prepared for you. Through the powerful story in the Gospels of the four friends who carried a paralyzed man to Jesus, this episode asks a question we all need to wrestle with: Is your circle carrying you closer to Jesus… or keeping you stuck on the mat? The people around us matter more than we often realize. They can strengthen our faith, sharpen our purpose, and lift us toward Christ… or quietly keep us small. If you’ve ever experienced the pain of losing friendships, being misunderstood, or watching people walk away during difficult seasons, i hope this episode reminds you of something important: Sometimes when Jesus removes people, it isn’t rejection. It’s loving pruning so you can grow into the person He created you to be. And i don’t want this to just be a podcast where you listen and move on. i want this to be a community. A place where we can be honest about our struggles, encourage each other, and help carry one another closer to Jesus.
