Welcome to Veritas True Stories!

Hi there everyone!  As loyal listeners would know, Veritas True Crime has been plagued by problems since the beginning and we've found it tough to get off the ground. Thankfully, our problems started early enough that we could combat them head on without too much disruption, at least we hope you didn't notice! :)  Veritas True Stories is now born!! We have found a brand new podcast hosting platform that has been working tirelessly with us to produce another podcast and we have seen it grow and flourish and from the start, that's what I wanted to Veritas True Crime. Rebranding has given a new lease of life to what I originally set out to give to you!  I have a list of stories as long as my arm and I'm working to produce them into episodes to share with you on the new platform.  I'm excited for you to join us each week as we delve into the fascinating details of true stories that you won't believe are real. From miraculous survival tales to notorious crimes, we'll explore the stories that captivate and amaze us. But fair warning: some of the content we discuss may be disturbing or graphic. Sisters, Nicole & Bibaa, Murdered

**Warning - Explicit language and graphic details of murder ** Larger than life sisters Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry were celebrating Nicole's upcoming birthday in London, United Kingdom when they are attacked and brutally murdered by incel demon worshipper, Danyal Hussein. The sisters are defiled in death and police are slow to respond to their family's pleas for help. Two Metropolitan police officers are suspended and charged, and later found guilty of misconduct in public office after taking photos of the murdered sisters in-situ at the murder scene, when they should've been looking after the scene and staying where they had been posted. Please note, there is one moment where the word c**ts is spelled out as it is in context with the story. I have decided not to say the word in this episode, but it was spelled out for you. Lauren Giddings' Murder

Discretion is advised** Lauren Giddings was murdered by a stalker in her own apartment in Macon, Georgia.  The story was originally released in recognition of National Stalker Awareness month in January 2022.  Veritas True Crime has been on a break but we are uploading re-recorded episodes that were lost as a result of a hosting move.
