You don't need to convince people that morality exists—they already live as if it does. Instead, help them trace this moral awareness back to its source: a holy God who has written His law on every human heart. For those struggling with guilt and shame, Jesus Christ offers complete forgiveness. For those who think they're good enough on their own, remember that no amount of good works can erase violations of conscience. Everyone needs the salvation that only Jesus provides. Christians shouldn't hide their struggles to appear better than they are. Our hope isn't in being really good people—it's in Jesus Christ who saves sinners. Be honest about your need for grace and enjoy the freedom that comes with knowing you're forgiven through Christ's finished work.
