Episode 16: Interviewing Rachel Waters, indicted for her mom's murder in 2025 - why the charges were dismissed, and how she's making sure it doesn't happen to anyone else
This week on a special extended WNUT Talk, Brandon sits down with Rachel Waters, who was indicted in 2025 on two felony murder counts for her mother's death. The charges were dropped nearly 7 months later, leaving her with no savings left after making bond, fighting the case, losing her job, and being lost in the grief of a parent's death on top of it all.
In this interview, Rachel talks about what went wrong, why she was likely suspected, what changed the District Attorney's mind, and how she's starting a new fight to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else in the future. It's an incredible story, and I guarantee you — you've never heard anything like it.
