Remembering a time when you were trying to figure it all out as a young man or young woman or for some of the advanced ones, young boy or young girl. There was a lot of scheming on each other as rebellious teenagers, but did we really know what we were doing that early in life? The old saying goes “it’s a shame to see a grown man cry”…but, let’s be realistic, there’s a time and place for everything. Yes, we as men are to appear/be durable, diligent, dare we say stoic at times, but speaking for myself, there have been moments where I’ve shed tears be it for joy or for pain. I love sunshine and rain (IYKYK). So I wanted to talk about a few of the times where me as a man has admittedly cried and maybe my fellow men can relate to it. Love conquers all…right? Perhaps, maybe, but what about the small fine print that comes with the act of love in our day to day? I don’t believe that love is enough, I believe in its healing power and its impact, but I certainly don’t believe it’s enough on its own. So what else must be considered into the equation when it comes to love? We’re not just talking about Romanticism here, but with the people we engage with on a daily. Many memories that were accumulated living under said roof from ‘95 until I left for the military in ‘04. I believe it quite often we as people have a tendency to highlight the flaws in others when pose with a question especially regarding dating so I wanted to take the time to point out the positives or green flags when it comes to a woman of interest. Now, there are many green flags that can be discussed so fellas if you happened to not hear it mentioned then do us a solid and comment what else you find to be a green flag when dating women. So many traits a woman can possess that can contribute to the peace of a union. Fellas, ever find yourself just not having much success in dating or just communicating with the opposite sex?
