This season, 29 Stories focuses on how companies have future-proofed their businesses—a theme that applies to government agencies, too. That is why for this episode, we sat down with Carrie Fisher Lepore, Deputy Secretary of Marketing, Tourism and Film at the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED). Throughout the pandemic, Carrie has been focused on supporting the travel and tourism industry and is leading an integrated and phased travel recovery plan aimed at kickstarting and maintaining the state’s tourism. In this episode, we learn more about DCED and what both Carrie and the PA tourism office have planned for the future.

Season 2, Finale: David Brown, Diversity Advisor to the Office of the Dean at Temple University

As we bring season two to a close, we focus on how diversity, equity, and inclusion are the key elements to business growth. More than ever, leaders of companies are looking to increase trust to create a genuine connection with their employees. We invited David Brown, Diversity Advisor to the Office of the Dean at Temple University, to educate our community on how diversity, equity, and inclusion can benefit businesses across the U.S. Prepare to relish the stories and wisdom shared in this episode of 29 Stories, as we’ll take a look through David’s lens of threading DEIBA into a company fabric to stimulate growth. Between his work with Temple University, Black Public Relations Society, Marketing Collaborative, and many more impressive titles, David has seen first-hand how diversity intertwines with leadership.
