How to Use Your Past to Propel Your Future

Everyone always says not to let the past affect what you are doing today. I would disagree to an extent. Our past has the ability to give us a better understanding of how to approach future endeavors if take the time to dissect our experiences (good or bad) so that we can understand the true "why" of each outcome. I do, however, agree that we should not dwell on the past and/or wish we could change it because the reality is, we can't.
