As I approach 40 I have been taking a hard look at what no longer deserves my time and energy. There is also a weight & fear that comes with evolving and moving on to new things. In reality there is not truly anything to fear other than staying in the same places that no longer serve you.

Sometimes protecting your peace means letting go of people you once cared deeply about, and that process isn’t always easy. I also open up about reaching a point where I no longer feel the need to explain myself or seek understanding from everyone.
