Killing Insanity

Killing is not some new thing that suddenly became a problem to legislate.  Killing is not rare in history just because we decide to cancel it.  Killing does not require permission, all it requires is to the determination and way to do it. Here’s the brutal truth: no society in human history has ever eliminated killing. Not religious ones. Not authoritarian ones. Not progressive ones. Not heavily armed ones. Not disarmed ones. Not rich ones. Not poor ones. Every civilization that has ever existed has had murder in it. Every single one.  But ever society has suffered from the killings.  From the moment human beings learned how to organize themselves into tribes, killing showed up like an uninvited guest—and never left. One of the oldest stories we are taught is about murder. Cain and Abel. Two brothers. No government. No weapons industry. No social media. No poverty statistics to debate. No ideology to blame. Just jealousy, pride, and the realization that one human could permanently erase another. And that’s important—because it tells us something deeply uncomfortable: people killing didn’t arrive after civilization. It arrived with us. Welcome to the Killing Insanity

A person who runs a stop sign without caring who they will hit. A person on their phone during a date or conversation. Entitlement had become worse since covid as if our fear has decided we are entitled to be assholes. Convincing someone they are entitled is never easy and they probably wouldn't believe it anyway, Since religion is entitled, politics, rich, working class, there is no one immune to this. The Losing Freedoms Insanity

Flag burning in protest.  Freedom. Kneeling for the national anthem.  Freedom. Westboro Church saying God Hates Fags.  Freedom. KKK Wanting to assemble.  Freedom. We need to stop using veterans, immigrants and pretty much anyone we do not like as a reason to stop allowing freedoms. Freedoms survive hate, they survive vile speech, they survive because when one is really free, it can be liberating. Maybe one day we will have what the founding fathers really wanted. Choosing Hate Insanity

Religious leaders do it to keep us in line. Advocates do it to justify their agenda. They all choose hate over compassion because in today's world it is easier and quicker to react with hate than take the time with compassion. Will the world ever become what we want it to if this is the case?
