Beschrijving

Abby & Seth discuss their combined Sunday Morning Class series with the Middle & High School youth students. In this episode you will hear more about how the Bible was formed, specifically through a canonization process that the early church used for a defense of their religion. - What about the other Gospels/letters that have been written and found? Why are they not included in the canon? - How did the early church decide which would be canon? - With the thousands of hand written copies, are there minor or major discrepancies? As always, please comment and follow. If you have an idea for a future topic/study, leave a comment and we'll see what we can do.

Working, Hope, and Spiritual Disciplines

In this episode, Seth and Tj discuss the classes for May 24, 2016. The high school transitions to a new study on 1 Thessalonians, while the middle school emphasizes the importance of spiritual disciplines. High School Themes: -View your current work or environment as a mission field. -Live a productive life as you wait on the Lord's return. -Everyone is a missionary. Middle School Theme: -Spiritual disciplines can seem monotonous at times, however, it is worth it to push through those times. -Pick a discipline you've never tried, and try it this week. -The disciplines bring us closer to God, but they are not the means by which we are saved. If you have an idea for a topic or study that you'd like to hear us discuss, leave it in the comments.
