715-Love: Community Love, Birthday Love and Yoga Love

Happy Tuesday Loves! Our word for the session is Love and my word for the year is Magic. They are swirling together and flying around me in the absolute best way. I'm sharing the arch of my journey that's brought me to this moment. Today is a beautiful day of seeing everything I've been dreaming and asking for one to bear fruit. AND...it's my birthday month! Happy Tuesday Loves! I Love this time of year. After taking time for so much death and grief over the last few years, I'm eager to have a real and true birthday month. Recently I traveled a bit and had a few obstacles to posting and I'm so happy to be back and in the swing of things. I repeated the Self-Love meditation that we practiced in our Restorative Yoga pop-up last night. Take a moment to listen and get quiet for a short meditation to open your heart to yourself and get ready to send that energy out into your community. I love you, Melissa 💚

713-Love: Exploring Our Firat And Most Important Love, Self-Love

Happy Love! Yes, I meant to write that. We're focusing on Love and I MEAN happy Live! This is my favorite word that we focus on all year. Mostly the word changes and we repeat a word every few years. Love has become a word that we focus on every year at this time. Last year Love was our word for the whole yoga session. This year we're braking it down. We're looking at all the different kinds of Love that we experience and are confronted with. After taking time to get really present with all the sensations and memories that might have popped up, I want to invite you to breathe into your most important Love. Self-Love is tough for many of us. Take a moment to listen and let's jump in to some big Magical work! I love you, Melissa. 💚

712-Our New Word Is Here!

Happy Tuesday loves! It's mid May and you know what that means? We're focusing on Love! I originally planned Love to coincide with Pride month. It was just a lovely coincidence that June is my birthday month. Now I can't imagine a better time of the year to practice Love. This first week of a new session I call getting clear. It's a way of feeling sensations in your body, in your heart and sparking memories and thoughts in your brain. We're working on getting clear about how you experience Love right now. You can try this again at the end of 8 weeks and see how it's different mind/body/spirit. Take a listen, do your homework (it's simple and fun, I promise) and then join us Saturday, 8:30a, ct on Zoom for Somatic Flow. We're opening our hearts and getting in touch with stuck emotions. 711-Santosha: Practicing Peace with Pantanjali, a meditation

Happy Tuesday Loves! We are in the last week of focusing on Santosha. We started the yoga session with an all-level definition of the word, Enough. Then we moved to the most commonly accepted definition, contentment. This last week, I'm inviting you to focus on and do work around a more complex definition, Peace. Listen as I lead you through a centering Santosha meditation and read, 1.33 from Pantanjali's Yoga Sutras. Breathe into Peace. Inhale Peace, Exhale Peace.
