It's been a big week in the NRL and plenty of headlines have been made by the story surrounding Kane Evans. The former Roosters and Eels hard man publicly came and detailed the tough time he'd had dealing with his sexuality. In a jam packed NRL Monday with Andrew Moore, we dissect both State of Origin teams for game two with Ruan Sims and Michael Carayannis. Penrith centre Paul Alamoti joins the show after the Panthers destroyed Wests Tigers 68-nil. It was a miraculous moment of brilliance from Keano Kini to help the Gold Coast win the Queensland Derby but the gun full back reckons it's a miracle he's even playing. He explained how close he came to being paralysed last year and also told Andrew Moore and the team how the win over the Broncos was reward for all the hard work they've been putting in. Moorey also puts Presidential aspirant Luke Lewis and soothsayer John Gibbs to the Test in 6 Again. The First Thought is "Queenslander" and there's a chance to get to know South Sydney's Euan Aitken. Connor Watson: Every time we've had a bad game it's been our ill discipline

After a couple of below par performance the Roosters bounced back with a big Round 14 win in Canberra over the Raiders. After starting a hooker Connor Watson told Andrew Moore, Luke Lewis, Ruan Sims and Michael Carayannis that they've been their own worst enemies in the games they've lost. He also talked about his relief at getting his future sorted and his excitement looking forward to his eventual home with the PNG Chiefs. Cronulla CEO Dino Mezzatesta dropped in to dis-spell talk of the club vacating Shark Park and Ryan Hoffman talked about whether he thought the Storm had properly turned the corner after a 4th win in 5 games.
