Adventure is Everywhere
This week, I'm getting honest about something I've been feeling lately: burnout. After a particularly difficult season a few years ago, I promised myself I'd never end up in that place again. But lately I've been noticing some familiar warning signs—exhaustion, low motivation, negative self-talk, and the feeling that life is happening faster than I can keep up. The thing is, nothing is actually wrong. In fact, life is full of exciting things right now: training for my third 29029 Everesting event, running a business, parenting three kids through summer break, planning a wedding, buying a house, getting ready to list my current one, and preparing for a family trip to Montenegro. It's all good stuff. It's also a lot. In this episode, I'm sharing how burnout shows up for me, why I've stopped expecting myself to avoid it entirely, and the practical things I'm doing right now to keep it from spiraling into something bigger.
