Becoming an Instrument of Edification

Series: 2026 Theme Pursuing Peace and Edification Service: Sunday PM Worship Type: Sermon Speaker: Steve Klein We are God’s instruments.  We are to pursue the things that edify.  What are those things?  Peace is the climate for edification and love is the motive.  God’s truth must be spoken in love.  His word expresses His authority, and when it is spoken plainly it will build us up!

Series: N/A Service: Sunday PM Worship Type: Sermon Speaker: Steve Klein God communicated His word to us in human language.  He often used literary structure that is part of human language (such as the parallelism of the Psalms).  Chiastic structure builds a thought through a series of statements and then repeats them in reverse order.  The chiastic structure of Leviticus points us to the significance of atonement in connection to God’s holiness, His holy law, His holy people, and the grace that He has bestowed.
