We come now to the concluding doxology in Jude. These verses highlight another vital principle for Christian living amid apostasy – worship! Jude concludes by turning our eyes heavenward to our Indescribable, Almighty God who is able to preserve and keep us. Remember that these words shine as a beam of pure light against the dark backdrop of apostates and their vile teachings and practices.

We are now in the second major section of the Epistle of Jude. The whole Epistle is an exhortation to believers (see v. 3), but Jude now turns his attention from describing and denouncing the apostates to exhorting believers on how they are to live in the midst of apostasy. The severity of the language employed by the Holy Ghost increases in this section. Jude's fiery denunciation of the apostates gets even fierier! Note the word 'woe'. To further teach his readers concerning the character of these evil apostates, Jude employs eight illustrations. Three of these are again drawn from the Old Testament, and the remaining five are drawn from the realm of nature.
