Bonus Episode: Between Heartbreak and Hallelujah: There Is Holiness in the Waiting

There are seasons when life no longer looks the way we imagined. The diagnosis comes. The relationship changes. The waiting stretches on. The prayers seem unanswered. We find ourselves asking, God, what are You doing? Can I still trust You? In this bonus episode of Be Still, Lisa explores what Scripture reveals about "the Land Between"—the wilderness where the Israelites lived between Egypt and the Promised Land. While we long for quick answers and immediate resolution, God often does some of His deepest work in the waiting. Drawing from the Exodus story, Numbers 11, and Isaiah 40, Lisa reflects on what it means to trust God's character when we cannot understand His timing. She explores the difference between lament and complaint, the illusion of control, and why the wilderness becomes "trust school" for every believer.
