Being in My Goodness
What if you spent one minute feeling proud before your next task and let that lead? In this episode of Being in My Goodness, I'm sharing one of my favorite practices called Proud Pose. You may have heard of the Superman pose where standing tall before a big moment to walk in with more confidence. This is different. Deeper. Proud Pose isn't about confidence. It's about self-assurance. Self-belief. Self-trust. You find what proud feels like in your body, easy, fluid, yours, and you hold it while you bring to mind something that made you genuinely proud. It could be something you did. It could be something someone you love did. Either way, you hold it for a minute and then go do your next thing. I use this before writing emails, after seeing metrics that make me want to shrink, and anytime I've come from something frustrating.
