Valley Of Dry Bones

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2440579/fan_mail/new] A valley full of bones sounds like the end of the story, but Ezekiel 37 starts with a question that still hits home: “Can these bones live?” We go line by line through the Valley of Dry Bones and talk about what it means when life feels drained, faith feels quiet, and your hope feels cut off. If you’ve been sensing spiritual warfare, pressure, or that heavy feeling you can’t quite name, this message is for you. We also get honest about the role of sin and disobedience. God warns Israel, and the warning still applies to us: sin separates, divides, and never takes you anywhere good. But we don’t stay there. We point to God’s mercy, the God of second chances, and the promise that he gives life to the dead and calls into existence what does not exist. That is not inspirational talk, it is Bible truth. Then we move into the command that changes everything: speak God’s Word into dead places. Ezekiel prophesies, the bones come together, and when God’s breath enters, what was dead stands up as an exceedingly great army. We connect that to real life, from depression and discouragement to the daily grind, and we end with God’s promise in Ezekiel 36 to cleanse, restore, and give a new heart by his Spirit. Don't Play Games

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2440579/fan_mail/new] Losing a battle can make you ask the right question and still make the wrong move. We open 1 Samuel 4 with Israel stunned by defeat, and we slow down on the moment that exposes the real issue: they recognize God’s hand is not with them, but instead of repentance and patience, they reach for a shortcut. We talk about what it looks like to “play church” and why it never delivers real victory. Israel brings the Ark of the Covenant into the center of the fight, hoping God will bail them out, and the result is even more devastating. That story confronts a mindset many of us slip into: checking boxes, getting loud in worship, quoting verses, then expecting God to fix what our disobedience keeps breaking. We unpack the difference between believing in God and walking with God, and why you can’t chase the fruit of a godly life without living one. We also speak plainly about spiritual warfare. When you start getting serious about prayer, church, and leaving old habits behind, the enemy notices. That’s why the call is not to perform faith, but to be transformed, to be born again, and to live by the power of the Holy Spirit with a real relationship with God. We close with a clear invitation to surrender to Jesus and trust Him not just to save your day, but to save your life. If this challenged you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more Beyond Sunday, and leave a review that helps someone else stop playing games and start following Jesus. Don’t Get Comfortable

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2440579/fan_mail/new] Comfort can be the most dangerous season of your faith, not because God is distant, but because we start drifting without noticing. We’re talking about the warning signs of spiritual complacency and why “don’t get comfortable” is not a catchy phrase, it’s a lifeline for anyone who wants to stay awake, clean-hearted, and faithful. We open Joshua 23 and sit with Joshua’s final message to Israel: God has fought for you, God has kept His promises, and God will still call you to obedience. That tension matters. We dig into what it means to live as people being sanctified, to surrender our whole life to God, and to stop offering Him parts and pieces. If you’ve ever felt yourself getting spiritually dull, distracted, or “fine with a little compromise,” this will hit home. Then we turn to Exodus 14 at the Red Sea where fear screams and faith has to stand firm. “The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent” is more than a verse to quote, it’s a posture for pressure, bad reports, and battles you can’t control. We also connect Isaiah 41 to the promise that God holds our right hand and helps us, while still warning against clinging to the remnant of the old life. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s been getting too comfortable, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What are you clinging to right now? Keep Faith In Your Camp

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2440579/fan_mail/new] A giant doesn’t just show up to fight you, it shows up to talk you into fear. We walk through 1 Samuel 17 and get painfully practical about the “Goliaths” we face today: addiction, anxiety, shame, broken habits, spiritual attacks, and the quiet lies that say you’re not enough. When Israel keeps staring at the size of the problem, they forget the size of their God, and they start running from battles they were meant to finish. We also dig into the voices around you and the voices inside you. Goliath taunts for forty days, and that’s a picture of what happens when fear is left unchecked: it gets louder, and eventually it sounds normal. I talk about why you can’t live on other people’s faith, why naysayers can’t lead your decisions, and why some of the strongest discouragement can come from your own circle. If you’ve been trying to “hide” your giant in the back room of life, this message is a call to bring it into the light and deal with it. Then we follow David’s mindset: he doesn’t rely on hype, he relies on history with God. The lion and the bear become his proof that God can deliver again, and his victory makes one point clear: the battle is the Lord’s. If you need Christian encouragement, stronger faith, and a grounded way to think about spiritual warfare, this is for you. Listen, subscribe, and share Beyond Sunday with someone who’s carrying a heavy fight, then leave a review to help more people find it. What giant are you ready to stop giving time to?
