Using passages such as Hebrews 7:11–14, Leviticus 10:1–3, Deuteronomy 4:2, 1 Peter 4:11, and 2 Timothy 2:15, we show that when God specifies what He wants, man has no authority to add what God has not approved. The issue is not whether the Bible lists every possible prohibition. The issue is whether the practice is authorized by what God has revealed.
