Not in trends. Not in opinions. Not in credentials. But in the character and counsel of the Almighty. And Proverbs doesn’t just suggest we fear God—it commands it. Not fear like terror, but fear like reverence. Fear like awe. Fear like taking God seriously. And how do you do that? Not by checking religious boxes. Not by quoting Scripture without surrender. You take God seriously by walking with Him. By knowing Him. By being in relationship with Him. Because wisdom isn’t just information—it’s intimacy. It’s not just knowing facts about God—it’s knowing the heart of God. And when you know Him, you begin to see everything else rightly. That’s true knowledge. That’s holy understanding.
