BWOMP's debut episode of BwompCast is dedicated to DJ EV1/Evan Phan. Ev was one of the original founders of the Bwomp Collective that unexpectedly passed away in 2020. In this heartfelt episode, Bwomp's Kevin Ho/DJ Eye-Q interviews Evan's older brother, Peter Phan to talk about Ev's upbringing, passing, the formation of BWOMP, and Ev's dedication and love for music.

As Dubstep and the Bass Music scene started to take shape in the mid-2000's , a ragtag crew of DJs from Los Angeles formed the BWOMP collective. BwompCast brings you the history of bass music events in LA with profiles on the artists, the promoters and the times.
