A little over a month ago, JC and I were in Baltimore for the second MonsterErotica Book Con, and we had some big learnings. The epics highs and lowest of our con prep are all laid out bare along with some Baltimore city suggestions and general love for all of Chloe's monster lovers in arms.

Ep. 16 - Pretty Little Liars pt.2 (Flawless) by Sara Shephard

Here, queer, and supplying 12 y/o girl drama! JC follows Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hannah as they get abused all around this town. JC really lets his Fast and Furious freak flag fly while Chloe is spilling personal lore like a 15 year old with a Jager shot.

Ep. 15 - I Married A Lizardman by Regine Abel

Ok, so we're a little late. Maybe Chloe is too burnt out and maybe JC is too hyped for Chile to focus. But that doesn't stop us from discussing the socio-economic inspiration for some lizards or the ways in which maybe our FMC is reinventing the South African Boer lie.

Ep. 14 - A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman

A book about the worst man in the world honorably fighting against the horrors of socialized healthcare. It's easy to see how this became a best seller. Join us as JC drops more Kendrick references than Chloe can handle and we champion justice for the clown community and the violences committed against them by the institutions of cantankerous Swedish men.

Ep. 13 - Wolf's Bane by Nancey Cummings

Chloe's former Jane Austen girlie reawakens to walk JC through this alien-werewolf-regency romance. There are magic stones, forbidden love, and two gay autistic wolves inside of JC.
