CEO: Business, Faith, and Strategy Godâs Way
đď¸ SHOW NOTES â Episode  Faith-Led Decision Making: How Christian CEOs Hear God in Business Podcast: CEO â Business, Faith, and Strategy Godâs Way Host: Beverly Parraz Audience: Kingdom Builders, Faith-Driven CEOs, Christian Entrepreneurs ⨠Episode Summary In this episode, Beverly confronts the hidden pattern that keeps Christian leaders exhausted: the belief that being available 24/7 is âresponsible.â She walks through how one âjust this onceâ reply becomes a cycle of pressure, resentment, and spiritual depletion â and how it quietly trains clients, teams, and even family members to treat your time as negotiable. Through Scripture, lived experience, and honest leadership insight, Beverly explains why this pattern forms, how it erodes identity, and what it costs your peace, marriage, parenting, ministry, and calling. She then teaches how to break the cycle with Godâaligned boundaries, courageous communication, and a renewed understanding of rest as obedience. Listeners are invited to download the CEO Time Management Guide at christledbusiness.com to begin rebuilding their weekly rhythm, reclaiming their peak energy hours, and strengthening the boundaries that protect their leadership and their rest. đ§ Coaching Session: Reflection Questions * Where have I been sacrificing my rest to maintain an image of being âthe reliable oneâ? * What fear rises in me when I imagine not responding after hours â and what does that fear reveal? * Who in my life has been unintentionally trained to believe they come second to my work? * What boundary, if strengthened this week, would immediately restore peace in my home or leadership? * Where have I allowed pride, pressure, or peopleâpleasing to override obedience and stewardship? * What would my leadership look like if I honored my rest as much as my work? đ ď¸ Practical Application for the Week Goal: Reset one draining pattern and establish one Godâaligned boundary. 1. Stop the âjust this onceâ replies * Let afterâhours calls go to voicemail. * Silence nonâurgent notifications. * Respond during your published hours only. 2. Publish and enforce your office hours * Add hours to your email signature, voicemail, and onboarding materials. * Use an autoâreply that states your response window and urgent channel. 3. Create one exception rule * Decide how many outsideâhour exceptions you allow per month. * Communicate this clearly to clients who need flexibility. 4. Send a boundary reset message * Kindly explain your new schedule and response window. * Reinforce that you will respond within 24 hours during business hours. 5. Protect one family moment this week * Dinner, bedtime, a walk, or a conversation â phone off, heart present. * Let this moment remind you who God entrusted to you first. 6. Complete one section of the CEO Time Management Guide * Start with Weekly Stewardship Overview or Authority Over Distractions. * Let God show you where your time is leaking and where peace can be restored. 7. Choose one obedience step * A boundary, a conversation, a schedule change, or a moment of rest. * Write it down and commit to it for the next seven days. đ Prayer from the Episode Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of time and for trusting us to steward it well. Teach us to honor the boundaries You modeled from the beginning of creation. Give us courage to say no when needed, clarity to protect our rest, and humility to release the pressure of being âalways available.â Restore our peace, strengthen our families, and realign our leadership with Your heart. Help us steward our time in a way that honors You, honors our calling, and honors the people Youâve entrusted to us. In Jesusâ name, amen. đŁ Call to Action If this episode blessed you, here are ways to go deeper: ⨠Download the Time Management Guide (Free Resource) A simple, printable tool to help you discern Godâs voice in your business decisions. ⨠Share this Episode Send it to another Kingdom Builder who needs clarity and encouragement. ⨠Leave a Review Your review helps this message reach more faith-driven leaders. â Buy Me a Coffee (CashApp) If you would like to buy me a coffee to help keep the podcast going: $BeverlyParraz đ Final Blessing May God fill you with clarity, courage, and supernatural peace as you make decisions this week.
