A professor of History at Eastern Kentucky University, Dr. Hartch holds a B.A. in English, an M.A.R. in Divinity, and a Ph.D. in History from Yale University. His research focuses on the religious history of Latin America, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to his teaching and writing. Dr. Hartch shares his personal faith journey, highlighting the significance of Christian history and exploring themes from his current book, which addresses the challenges associated with "liberal theology." As I was preparing to launch Chasing Grace I had a couple sessions that were meant to be practice to ensure the equipment was working and set up properly. In the course of the preparation I used one of my daughters as a test subject. Although it wasn't a full episode I still feel like she had some important and relevant things to say in our conversation.
