ConBERTAciones
Holding hands is one of the simplest gestures, yet it carries the weight of entire stories. A hand extended says, I’m here. A receiving hand whispers, I trust you. We hold hands in celebration—walking into new seasons, standing before promises, welcoming what we prayed for. We hold hands in sorrow—at hospital beds, in waiting rooms, at gravesides where words feel too small. A child reaches up instinctively. A mother squeezes gently. Two friends clasp fingers in silent agreement. Two lovers intertwine hands as if stitching their lives together. Sometimes holding hands is strength. Sometimes it is surrender. Sometimes it is the only prayer we can form without speaking. And that is why the image moves us so deeply: because to hold a hand is to say, You do not walk alone. Even when the road bends. Even when the night feels long. Even when we are unsure of the next step. Holding hands does not remove the valley. It simply reminds us there is companionship within it. And that, sometimes, is more than enough!
