When Did This Become Acceptable?: One Controversy. A Much Bigger Question

How much should we expect from the people we elect to lead us? This episode was inspired by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's remarks describing AIPAC and its supporters as "monsters," but the conversation quickly becomes about something much larger. Skylar and Corey ask whether we've crossed a line in American politics; stopping our expectation that elected officials should represent the best of us and instead accepting behavior we would once have considered unacceptable from any public leader.
