Why would someone sell at a discount? In previous episodes of the Heartland Multifamily Show, I’ve talked about the importance of being skeptical if someone offers you a property at a discount. But there are many good reasons why a property owner is willing to leave money on the table in favor of a quick sale. The top four reasons are illness/death, being on the verge of repossession, not having the time or energy to manage the property, and seeing another opportunity that makes up for the immediate loss. Today I’m going to give you a tip I heard directly from Patrick Bet-David on how to manage my time: Rate everything on your to-do list according to urgency and impact.
