They discuss their dad’s intense, methodological writing style, the long lasting impact of Jewish summer camp on their lives, and the difficulties and merits of being the ~outspoken~ teenage girl in the room.

One Year Deadiversary

Anna and Lily dive into their feelings surrounding the one year anniversary of their dad’s death (after a quick gab about the pop girls ofc). They read some passages from books and Anna’s dramatic notes app poetry and discuss the process of grief, the way people treat and understand you over time in the wake of a loss, and gauging the “correct” reaction to it all. Additionally, they ruminate on personal grief in the face of a mass grief event like the current genocide in Gaza, and how the hierarchy of suffering factors into it all.
