Have you ever been tired in a way sleep does not fix? Not just worn out from a long day but worn down in your soul. Still showing up. Still working. Still providing. Still leading. Still serving. But inside, you feel empty. In this episode of the Equipped to Lead Podcast, we talk honestly about burnout, weariness, limits, rest, and learning to depend on God instead of trying to carry everything in our own strength. We look at what Scripture teaches through Moses, Elijah, David, the disciples, and the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28. Burnout is not always weakness. Sometimes it is a warning light that we have been running too fast, carrying too much, saying yes too often, and trying to fix what only God can fix. This episode is not an excuse for laziness or quitting when life gets hard. Men are called to work, lead, serve, and endure. But we are not called to destroy ourselves trying to prove we are strong. If you feel burned out, this episode will help you take one honest step of obedience. Come to Jesus. Admit your limits. Ask for help. Set the boundary. Rest well. Open God’s Word. Trust the Shepherd to restore your soul. For more resources, visit www.equippedtoleadpodcast.com [http://www.equippedtoleadpodcast.com] and download the free 30-Day Biblical Manhood Devotion. Ep 24 - How Do I Honor Christ in A Difficult Workplace

Episode 24: How Do I Honor Christ in a Difficult Workplace? Work can test our character. A difficult boss, negative coworkers, demanding customers, gossip, pressure, unfair treatment, and a toxic culture can bring out frustration, bitterness, and anger in us fast. But as Christian men, we are not called to honor Christ only when work is easy. We are called to work heartily as for the Lord, walk in integrity, respond with self-control, refuse gossip and complaint, and let our conduct point others to Christ. This episode reminds us that Christ is Lord over Sunday morning and Monday morning — over our worship and our work. In this episode, we talk about: How to work as unto the Lord when people are difficult Why respect does not always mean agreement How to respond to mistreatment without losing our witness Why our conduct at work matters for the gospel How Daniel gives us a picture of integrity under pressure Practical steps for honoring Christ in a hard workplace A difficult workplace does not excuse ungodly character. It may be one of the places God uses to shape us into men who lead with strength, serve with humility, and love like Christ. Ep 23 - How Do I Avoid Making Work An Idol?

How do we keep work from becoming an idol? Work is a good gift from God, but it was never meant to take God’s place. In this episode, we talk about how men can work hard, provide well, and pursue excellence without finding their identity, security, or worth in their work. We’ll look at what Scripture says about ambition, success, rest, family, and seeking first the kingdom of God. Work hard. Provide well. Lead strong. But don’t bow down. Be strong. Lead well. aflevering Ep 22 - Is My Work Meaningful To God? artwork

Ep 22 - Is My Work Meaningful To God?

Is my work meaningful to God? In this episode, Corey answers that question from Colossians 3:23–24 and shows how ordinary work can become worship when it is done for the Lord. Work is not just a paycheck or a title — it is a place where our faith is tested, our character is shaped, and Christ is honored. Men, Monday matters. The hidden things matter. Because it is the Lord Christ whom we serve. We would love to hear from you on how this episode has helped or challenged you. Ep 21 - The Cost of Compromise

Compromise rarely looks dangerous at first, but small compromises can become strongholds that affect our hearts, homes, leadership, and walk with God. In this episode, we look at Joseph in Genesis 39 and his powerful question: “How then could I do this great evil and sin against God?” We’ll talk about what compromise really costs, how it grows in small steps, and how men can draw the line, fight temptation, and choose obedience by God’s grace.
