How To Use Depression To Your Advantage

In this episode I share my story of being extremely depressed in my early college years. After quitting football, I didn’t know what came next in my life, if anything. I was put on depression medicine that helped some, but I would still have those days that I thought to myself “why am I here” or “is this life really worth it?” After reading The Little Book of Behavioral Investing I learned that the clinically depressed see the world in reality and realize they are not where they want to be in life. They visualize a better future for themselves and their families. When you convert to long-term thinking and realize that your state of depression is temporary then you can take action steps to manifest the new reality you want for your family.
