"We have been burying our investments in the ground and called it safe." I've been sitting with the parable of the talents, and I can't stop thinking about the servant who buried what he was given — out of fear of rejection, fear of not being enough, fear of what could be taken away. I talk to women all the time who sense the call to lead, to write, to gather, to build, and yet bury that little sliver of hope because they're terrified of losing it. It's time to dig it out.
