As a licensed counsellor, one of the major crisis in relationships, I have found to be is the struggle between the compromise of whether you want to change for the sake of peace in the relationship or walk away with irreconcilable differences. I am often asked, "why does he want to change me?"; "why do I have to change what I have done all these years before I met him?" One question I constantly asked in my failed marriage was, "If he says he loves me this much, then why wont he change for me?" Well, let's talk about it.
