Healing Momma Podcast
In this honest and vulnerable conversation, I'm sharing something I've been struggling with lately: feeling tired. Not just physically tired, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually drained. As moms, caregivers, healers, and people who are always showing up for everyone else, we often convince ourselves that we have to keep pushing through no matter what. We wear exhaustion like a badge of honor and guilt ourselves whenever we need a break. But what if rest isn't weakness? What if rest is actually part of the healing? In this episode, I open up about the pressure to always be strong, the guilt that can come with slowing down, and the lies we've been taught about what strength really looks like. For so many years, I believed that strong people don't cry, don't ask for help, and don't need rest. The truth? Real strength is allowing yourself to be human. Together, we'll talk about: ✨ Why rest is a necessary part of healing, not something you have to earn ✨ How to stop judging yourself for feeling tired or overwhelmed ✨ The importance of honoring your emotions instead of pushing them away ✨ Building trust with yourself by keeping small promises to yourself ✨ Letting go of control and leaning into faith during difficult seasons ✨ Why healing isn't a straight line and how to give yourself grace along the way If you're in a season where life feels heavy, where you're doing your best just to make it through the day, I want you to know this: you are not failing. You are not weak. You are not behind. You are healing. And sometimes healing looks like resting. Sometimes healing looks like crying. Sometimes healing looks like taking a step back so you can keep moving forward. So consider this your permission slip to slow down, take a deep breath, and give yourself the same compassion you so freely give to everyone else. Your story isn't over. God isn't finished with you yet. The hard chapters are not the whole story, and your best days are still ahead. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you on this journey. If this episode speaks to your heart, be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs the reminder that it's okay to rest.
