It all started so upbeat, a fun recap of the last reunion to dull the senses in a stressful time, taking a moment to enjoy the last episode of a new Real Housewives franchise. Then, opening a thread about JoEllen liking a slew of propaganda memes and being transported back to the harsh, hateful reality of what America has become, at the hands of those who divide us for profit.  Once the menfolk exit the stage, after adding to the conversation and controversy of the season, regrets and hopes are shared amongst the women. The season ends with a customary toast...only for fresh information to hit us via online posts. The final pod review of the Congressional testimony of Jeffrey Epstein's longtime Executive Assistant, Lesley Groff, maintains focus on her awareness, or lack thereof, of underage girls regularly meeting with Epstein. Whether through booking travel, corresponding via email and phone, or arranging cash payments and gifts, Congress members ask how she is certain that everyone was an adult. Why didn't she see that changing access codes to apartments was a form of coercion and control? How was being in charge of haircuts and medical appointments for so many young women and girls seen as normal? How does researching, making calls, and emailing about steps to obtain a VISA not confirm her involvement in obtaining VISAS? Why didn't any of Epstein's alarming behavior and ongoing requests raise any flags after he was known to be a registered sex offender who had been accused of abusing young girls? Recap: RHORI S1E12, Finale and Reunion Part 1

A legendary finale and an initial reunion installment for the Bravo ages. Seeing the women deal with so many issues on their Block Island getaway was sensory overload in the best of ways. Alicia being thrilled that Billy took initiative to do anything, JoEllen and her husband confronting Rulla and her lil' cheater about the video, and JoEllen trying to make peace with Rulla. Then, the lil' cheater's arrest at the end of the finale was the cherry on top of a season filled with conflict and strife because of his cowardice and denial. Reunion Part 1 showcased the Real Housewives of Rhode Island in all their blue hued glory. Rulla went back to her attempts to blame JoEllen for her problems and failed miserably, Liz went into scary mode more than once, Kelsey and Rosie rehashed their beef about rumors and cliques, and Alicia continued to be an absolute treasure, a real doll.
