Margaret has been a consistent champion of council housing. Using her experience as a Council Cabinet Member to hold the police to account and tackle crime in her constituency of Dagenham and Rainham, and offer a new model of politics for the area, putting the community at its heart. As a Member of Parliament Nicola also campaigned on public health matters in the areas of HIV and Breast Cancer.
