Today’s episode is inspired again in part by ShineText.com and of course, my own thoughts and feelings. Are you ever afraid to say what you think and feel? Today we talk about how you deserve to be heard. But so often, we let our fear of how others will interpret what we say keep us from saying anything at all. Speak up! You are worthy. But first, listening to me talk about talking. Like what you hear? Be sure your rate this show on your favorite podcast app! LOVE what you hear? Sponsor the show! The Problem With “Hustle”

Today we talk about “Hustle” vs. “Slow.” I have a hard time with the word “Hustle” It’s a label we seem to strive for—especially in the entrepreneur world. It’s not a bad word! But it’s a word or a way of life we put on a pedestal—then we deal with massive guilt if we find ourselves in a moment lacking hustle. Is it okay to slow down? What are the benefits of slowing down? Am I failing “the” hustle if I’m not hustling to the world’s expectations? Listen to find out. Like what you hear? Be sure your rate this show on your favorite podcast app! LOVE what you hear? Make Good Choices

This episode is inspired by watching “Botched Up Bodies” and “Surviving R. Kelly” and what weighs heavy on my heart as a result. We too often make bad choices. I’m talking about just doing really dumb—or blatantly wrong—with a justification or rationalization that we feel makes it right....despite the horrible or hurtful outcomes. I’m also talking abut looking the other way when we shouldn’t. Or not speaking up when it’s the right thing to do. Or going with what’s popular when we know it’s wrong. Or focusing on an imperfection that isn’t where our focus should be—then making a series of bad decisions to fix something that doesn’t need to be fixed. We risk so much when we make bad choices. Find out why I think shows like “Botched Up Bodies” and “Surviving R. Kelly” are situations born from our tendency to make bad choices. Like what you hear? The Recipe for Feeling Un-Loved

This episode is strategically placed AFTER Valentine’s Day. It’s a day when you either feel exceptionally loved—or tragically UN-loved. Did you know? “Feeling” unloved doesn’t mean you “are” unloved. Today we’ll talk about the recipe of behavior that can lead to us feeling unloved—and how we can change the recipe for a better outcome. This episode isn’t just for anyone who felt unloved on Valentine’s Day. It’s for anyone who struggles with feeling like no one loves you on a regular, non-made-up holiday day. Like what you hear? Busting Buzzwords—I’m Not Toxic, You Are

Today we celebrate our 20th Episode and surpassing 1,000 listens!!! Hooray! We also add another installment of Busting Buzzwords. We’ll talk about an all-too-common label for people we don’t want in our lives these days: Toxic Is it accurate? WHEN is it accurate? If I say it first, does it mean you are toxic and I’m not?? We’ll explore what being toxic “isn’t” and why we need to be careful tossing that label on anyone we feel isn’t up to our standards. Like what you hear?
