Cingi Interview

Cinginkosi Ncube better known as Cingi is a Zimbabwean born Singer and Song writer. She was born and resides in Victoria Falls. She began singing and entertaining in high school where she was a known actress. She later joined a number of singing groups. Luveve High School nurtured and groomed the love for African art in her. She was an outspoken young lady, so she joined the debate and public speaking club, and became a Child parliamentarian in O'level. She was also very sporty, and loved dancing. She met other great artists today such as Joy Rukanza and Xmile during those years. Her first release was in 2017, when she decided to link up with a renown Victoria Falls Producer, Smokey P (Prince Dube, the best in Cingi's eyes), and did Biza Njalo. They did a video for the song as well, and the work was spectacular. She hadn't seen herself in the commercial music scene, but after Biza Njalo, Cingi knew she wanted to sing not only because she was talented only, but also because music would be a medium for her to speak and vent her heart out and so she made more music. She broadened her scope outside of Victoria Falls, and worked with some producers from Bulawayo. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/poetrama-magazine/message
