The motorsport legend Bruce McLaren, died at the age of 32 at the Goodwood Motor Circuit in England doing what he loved. Bruce McLaren was a New Zealand racing driver, automotive designer, engineer, and motorsport executive who competed in Formula One from 1958 to 1970. On In My Day, his daughter, Amanda McLaren, called in to talk about her talented father, along with old school friends and mates from throughout his motoring career. This week on In My Day caller and former lighthouse keeper Kevin shared his experience witnessing the infamous Kaikoura lights.  The Kaikoura lights refers to a series of UFO sightings in the skies above the Kaikoura mountain ranges in December 1978. A television crew from Melbourne's Channel 0 were able to capture footage of the lights while onboard a Safe Air plane that was making a newspaper run from Wellington to Christchurch.
