In this episode I am getting called out by my dear friend and podcast host Christine Marcario of the Aligned and Abundant Podcast -- and honestly, I needed every bit of it. We are talking about the moment I realized that everything on my plate had shifted from I get to, to I have to. The hammock that is still not put together. The flowers I keep saying I am going to buy. And the real reason why slowing down feels so impossible even when you know better. Christine is hosting a 90 minute workshop called Permission to Play inside her  community The Soul Shine Collective on June 1st and the timing could not be more perfect. Because somewhere along the way a lot of us forgot what it feels like to just play -- no agenda, no outcome, no hustle attached to it. This episode is your reminder that rest is not laziness. Play is not frivolous. And your best ideas, your downloads, your spark -- they do not come when you are running on empty. They come when you finally give yourself permission to stop. If this episode hit close to home, come join us. Christine's community is open now and and the doors are wide open for the June 1st workshop! Stop Waiting for Permission: Letting Go of Fear, Doubt & Judgment

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2332610/fan_mail/new] Hey friend! Welcome back to another Shower Sprinkle. If you listened to last week's episode with my dear friend Christine Marcario, you know I had a big realization — I was caught in the hustle and had lost touch with what it means to truly play, rest, and give myself permission to just be. This week, that realization went even deeper. During a powerful breathwork and meditation session with my mentor Jennifer Liss, I did something I didn't expect — I drew a line in the sand. And I stepped over it. On one side of that line? Worry. Doubt. Fear. Judgment. The need for permission from other people. Old stories I've been carrying way too long. On the other side? My voice. My power. My joy. My permission to celebrate, create, help others, and have so much fun doing it. In this Shower Sprinkle I'm talking about: * Why you are the only one who can give yourself permission to live, dream, and grow * What it felt like to draw that line and step over it during breathwork * How we grow into new people and don't have to carry old versions of ourselves forward * The reminder that wherever you are right now, you can pivot * What I'm calling forward in my life — and the question I'm leaving with you This week's challenge: Look in the mirror this morning and say it out loud — "Good morning, beautiful. I love you. You are magic." Then ask yourself: what am I stepping into? And what am I finally letting go of? Reach out and tell me. I would love to hear what's on the other side of your line. Cracked Open: My Health Journey, Healing & Purpose

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2332610/fan_mail/new] In today’s episode I’m sharing a deeply personal and powerful conversation that originally aired on my dear friend Dana Hunter Fradella’s podcast, Girls Who Recover (now Her Next Level Podcast). This episode was recorded in the early days of both of our podcasting journeys, and it became one of the most pivotal conversations I’ve ever had about my life, my health, and my healing. At the time, I was still in the thick of processing my own story — navigating a rare illness, searching for answers, and trying to understand what happens when your body stops working the way it’s supposed to. What unfolded in this conversation was raw, honest, and emotional in a way I hadn’t fully experienced before publicly sharing my journey. Dana has a gift for holding space that allows people to go deeper than they thought they could. In this interview, she gently guided me into the truth of my experience — the fear, the frustration, the moments of feeling dismissed, and the long road toward diagnosis, healing, and hope. In this episode, we talk about: ✨ Being dismissed and misunderstood in the medical system ✨ The emotional toll of chronic illness ✨ Rock bottom moments and learning to ask for help ✨ Trusting your inner voice when no one else understands ✨ The power of support, community, and resilience ✨ How my healing journey led to purpose and founding Little Moments Big Dreams Celebrations This conversation marked a turning point in my story. Looking back now, I can see how much I’ve grown since this moment — not just physically, but emotionally, spiritually, and in how I now show up in the world. I’m so grateful to Dana for holding space for me in one of the most vulnerable chapters of my life, and for helping me share a story that continues to ripple outward today. It Got Dim- Not Gone

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2332610/fan_mail/new] Have you ever looked at a picture of your younger self and barely recognized the joy on your face? That happened to me this week. In this shower sprinkle episode I get real about the moments that dim our inner light — the embarrassing drive through order, the intercom slip in elementary school, the skating rink that broke her heart — and how those moments quietly talk us out of showing up as ourselves. This one is personal. This one is raw. And this one is for anyone who has been carrying something for way too long. In this episode I talk about: ✨ Why your inner spark never actually goes out — it just gets dim  ✨ The childhood moments that quietly silenced my voice  ✨ How words and experiences live in our bodies longer than we realize  ✨ What it looks like to relight your spark without becoming someone new  ✨ The reminder that it is not gone — it is just waiting to be turned back up "It is not becoming someone new. It is remembering who you were before your light got dim." If your inner light feels a little low right now — this episode is for you. 💛 You can find me at: https://www.instagram.com/cataton/ [https://www.instagram.com/cataton/] https://www.facebook.com/casey.taton/ [https://www.facebook.com/casey.taton/] You can find what sparks me at: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1AgeRtyojY/ [https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1AgeRtyojY/] https://www.instagram.com/lmbdcelebrations/ [https://www.instagram.com/lmbdcelebrations/] Music by: Jason and Ashley Scheufler Artwork by:  https://www.instagram.com/graphx_ink/ [https://www.instagram.com/graphx_ink/]

Are You Draining Your Fun Before It Even Starts?

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2332610/fan_mail/new] After noticing my own “fun meter” running low, I reflect on how overthinking, pressure, and overwhelm were taking the joy out of experiences before they even started. Through real-life moments—from a high-energy event filled with connection to a simple, joy-filled hospital delivery— I uncover a deeper truth: ✨ Fun isn’t just about the moment—it’s about how you show up to it  ✨ How we unintentionally drain our energy before doing things we love  ✨ Why your “fun meter” might be empty before you even arrive  ✨ The importance of allowing joy, presence, and receiving This episode is your invitation to pause and ask: 👉 Am I overcomplicating things that are meant to bring me joy?  👉 Where am I draining myself before I even begin?  👉 And how can I allow just a little more fun back in? Because you don’t have to go from empty to full overnight—  you just have to stop draining it before you get there.
