InSight Out
Family movie night sounds simple enough. Dinner, something fun to watch, everyone together in the same room. But then come the opinions, the complaints, the rotating turns, and suddenly one person’s “fun family tradition” becomes another person’s superhero movie prison sentence. It is funny until it starts revealing how hard unity can be, even in the small things. Maybe the real question is not whether everyone gets their perfect movie pick. Maybe it is whether we can learn to give, laugh, compromise, and stay connected even when we do not all want the same thing. Scripture (NIV): Colossians 3:13 — “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.” Reflection Questions: Where does your family struggle to compromise in small ways? How can you choose connection over getting your own preference? 👉 Join the conversation on the IOM FB Page: We'd love to hear your thoughts.
