Ep 12 - Have you ever wondered why you had one of ”those” days?

Well much has happened since my last recording, and while I actually recorded this a month ago, life happened and so it's just being released now.  When I listened to this recording, it actually made me giggle - though it was far from funny as it was happening.  I'm sure we've all had those days where it seems it's just one thing after another and you're ready to give up.  I share my experience this particular day and my realization of why things happened the way they did.

Ep 11 - Sometimes REAL conversations are uncomfortable

I had a REAL conversation with my kids the other day.  It was difficult and uncomfortable, but extremely important. In a world full of lies and influences we need to keep the lines of communication open with our children.  And I believe for that to happen, sometimes we need to have hard conversations with them ourselves. If we show them we can be embarrassed and vulnerable too, it opens that door for them as well. We are all just human, doing the best we can.  Let them see that.

After being MIA for several weeks, I'm back.  This one may surprise you, but I hope you take something positive from it!  Realness and authenticity are important to me, and I expect if you are listening, they are to you as well.
