In Week 12 of our Believe series, we finish John chapter 3 by exploring John the Baptist’s powerful response when his disciples become concerned about Jesus’ growing influence. Through the famous declaration, “He must increase, but I must decrease,” we discover a timeless truth: the Christian life is not about building our own platform—it is about exalting Jesus above all else.! This message challenges us to find contentment in God’s calling, joy in Christ’s kingdom advancing, and confidence in Jesus as the anchor of our souls through every high and low of life.

Purpose of Pentecost

Why did the Holy Spirit come at Pentecost? While the Spirit works within believers to comfort, teach, and transform them, Pentecost reveals another purpose: empowerment for the harvest. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would come upon His people so they could be His witnesses. This message explores God's heart for the harvest, the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, and the invitation for believers to be filled again so their lives overflow with the testimony of Christ.

Believe - Week 11

In John 3, Jesus reveals the heart of the Gospel to Nicodemus: God so loved the world that He gave His Son. This message explores the depth of God’s love, the purpose of Christ being lifted up, and the invitation extended to all who are willing to come to Him. Salvation is not earned through effort or religious performance—it is received through faith in the One who was given for us!

Believe - Week 10

In John 3, Nicodemus comes to Jesus recognizing that something about Him is different—but Jesus immediately confronts him with a deeper truth: religion, knowledge, and morality are not enough. A person must be born again. This message explores the necessity of spiritual rebirth, the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, and humanity’s inability to save or cleanse itself apart from Christ. Jesus didn’t come merely to improve behavior. He came to give new life. And the invitation still stands today: You must be born again.
