I am the proverbial dreamer whose greatest desire, even as a child, was to live in a universe larger than my world. I was fortunate and I did. I stood on the shoulders of giants and learned to listen. I reached for the stars and landed on the moon. My giants treated me not as I was but as they each thought I could become.
Following a successful 35-year career in the Foreign Service of the United States, I looked for an opportunity that would allow me to give back. It was my turn to make my shoulders available to others.
In the interest of brevity, I will paraphrase Robert Kiyosaki, noted author and entrepreneur, from his book “Rich Dad’s Business School — For People Who Like Helping People.” If you love to lead by teaching, influencing others to find their own world of financial abundance without having to beat the competition…find a progressive company that is right for you.
Like many others, I, too, spent time in Direct Sales and I can appreciate the difference between that industry and more conventional business models. I wanted a company that is customer-driven, not distributor driven. That means people. Jim Rohn noted business philosopher and entrepreneur, put it this way: “If you make a sale, you make a living. If you make an investment of time and good service in a customer, you can make a fortune.”
I have found the vehicle through which I can level the playing field for those whose dreams are no less cherished than my own. There are myriad reasons why so many today fail to fulfill a dream and the reasons are timeless: lack of opportunity, fear, insecurity, and the vicissitudes of life.
I learned that if your dream is more powerful than your fear, you deal with it, and you allow the winner in you to prevail! As you win, you give yourself form and life — a prescription for success.
My purpose is to work with those who dare to dream, who reach beyond themselves, who choose to lead, who say they can, and resolve to do it!
