We, because of this, end up worrying instead about the future. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us not to worry about today OR tomorrow, but to seek first the Kingdom of God. Anxious For Salvation? (Philippians 2:1-18)

We can easily become anxious about our relationship with Jesus and salvation. We can become overwhelmed with thoughts of “am I good enough?” “what do I need to do to be saved?” “will I actually be with Jesus when I die?” . Paul’s letter to the church in Philippi shows us that we do not need to be anxious about salvation because, ultimately, it is in God’s hands.
