In the first half of the show, Mark talks to Mid-Columbia Community Action [https://www.mccac.com/] Executive Director Leslie Naramore about the Mid-Columbia Houseless Collaborative's upcoming meeting, and MCCAC seeking donations of cooling supplies to put into kits to give to those in need.  In the second half, Hood River County Veterans Services Officer Lynetta Hickman talks about an upcoming America's 250th Birthday Celebration featuring information on Veterans' resources set for June 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at River of Life Assembly Church on 979 Tucker Road in Hood River, and Mark talks about a story on betting odds for the USA to win the World Cup, and why he thinks it would be a far bigger upset than 1980's "Miracle on Ice" U.S. Olympic hockey victory.
